For Employers
Your next great team member may be a Nashville Fellow.
Who are the Nashville Fellows?
Nashville Fellows is a nine-month Christian leadership and discipleship program for recent college graduates. Through paid employment, classes, mentoring, and community life, Fellows explore how their faith shapes the way they work, lead, and serve.
We believe work is a meaningful way to love our neighbors and seek the good of our city. Employers help Fellows put that conviction into practice through everyday responsibilities, professional relationships, and opportunities to contribute.
3 Reasons to Hire a Nashville Fellow
Bring promising talent to your team. Help shape a future leader.
Your next great team member may be a Nashville Fellow. Our Fellows are recent college graduates eager to put their education to work, take on meaningful responsibilities, and contribute to the people and organizations around them.
By hiring a Fellow, you gain a motivated young professional while helping someone build the habits, skills, and relationships that will shape a lifetime of work.
Carefully selected. Ready to grow.
Each year, more than 75 applicants compete for just 12 spots in the Nashville Fellows Program. Every applicant is thoroughly screened and interviewed, and references are checked as part of our selection process.
That careful vetting gives employers confidence in the young professionals we introduce. You have access to a select group of graduates who have intentionally chosen a year of work, learning, service, and personal growth.
Cultivate a long-term partnership with purpose.
Hiring a Fellow gives your organization additional capacity and a fresh perspective. It also gives an emerging professional the opportunity to learn from your experience, receive constructive feedback, and discover where their gifts can make a difference.
We invite employers to offer meaningful work, clear supervision, and opportunities for growing responsibility. A supervisor who takes time to explain a decision, invite a question, or offer encouragement can have a lasting influence on a Fellow’s career.
Together, we can help develop thoughtful, capable leaders who contribute to healthier workplaces and a stronger Nashville.
How Employment Works
-
Fellows work Monday through Thursday for approximately 29 hours per week.
-
Fellows do not work on Fridays as they are reserved for class.
-
Employers provide compensation for the Fellow’s work.
-
Employers do not need to provide an employee benefits package as part of the job placement.
Our Employee Partners
We are grateful for our Employer Partners, who invest in Fellows through both meaningful employment and financial support. In addition to welcoming a Fellow onto their team, these organizations provide critical funding that helps us equip future generations of leaders.
Their generosity supports a year of Christian formation, professional growth, and life in community - helping young adults develop the character, wisdom, and skills to serve well wherever they are called.
To our Employer Partners: thank you for investing in our Fellows and in the future of Nashville. Your partnership helps prepare leaders who will contribute to our workplaces, churches, and neighborhoods for years to come.
